Mario Diaz Bustamante is a graphic designer who has worked on logo design, branding, visual identity systems, signage/wayfinding systems, video production and motion graphics in analogue, print, digital and broadcast media.
He is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, currently working as a designer at Ripe inc and as a freelancer for independent clients.
Mario graduated from the University of New Mexico with a BFA in Production in Multidisciplinary Film and Digital Media with a concentration in Graphic Design. Previously, he worked at RK Venture where he has been awarded several Silver ADDY awards from the American Advertising Federation of New Mexico in design, motion graphics and video production and at Project ECHO, where his design work has supported medical practicians share their knowledge in rural and underserved communities around the world. His work has been recognized by Communication Arts, PRINT magazine, WACOM Mexico, AIGA and the American Advertising Federation of New Mexico.
